1. Low Cost Residentials – Basic Cube

The idea consists of a unified two-story high space (about 150 m2), in which these “basic cubes” on casters are placed, as personal, intimate  rooms. The cubes’ weight is reduced to minimum, so that they might be moved freely. The degree of intimacy can vary from a totally closed room, to an open space, due to the sliding doors. Access to the upper room is made by using a mobile stair (on casters too). The cubes can also be placed adjacent, to form a larger room.

The sliding walls are OSB panels (two bound sheets of 125 cm x 250 cm x 1.5 cm ), while the structure is made of massive wood, with a section of 150 cm x 150 cm.
